• Up to 16 stereo output audio channels, 4 of them assigned automatically using drum types. All drums are automatically sent to one of the 4 channels by default. For example, drums have associated channel 1, hihat and ride cymbals channel 2, crash and other effect cymbals channel 3 and so on. I have quite a few drum programs on my computers. Some of those other programs are not bad. Some of them are acceptable. And some of them are absolutely crap. The moment that I started playing around with your free version of Mdrummer, I knew that this really is the thing that I have been waiting for.

Having said that, I do know a lot of people who are into music and recording. And I promise you that I will make sure that they all get to hear very positive things about Mdrummer. Will that bring you more buyers ? I don't know. But I think they have to be pretty stupid if they don't give your program a try.

• Rhythm merging and combining allows you to combine different rhythms or even create a mixture of them. Want MDrummer to play different rhythms in verses than in choruses? Want MDrummer to also play some shakers or tambourines? These are typical usages for the rhythm merging and combining.
• 9 rhythm channels, hence 9 rhythms available to play at a stroke. So one MDrummer can replace 9 godlike drummers!
• 5 loop types (intros, beats, breaks, long breaks and outros). Each of them contains 12 complexity level boxes. Each of the boxes can contain an unlimited number of loops for maximal virtual drummer capabilities. Hence each rhythm can theoretically contain an unlimited number of loops. That gives MDrummer incredible ammunition!
• Unlimited number of complexity levels using per-note levels. Any song might graduate slightly as never before.
• Humanize, shuffle, half/double tempo feel, speed change... Our rhythm definition allows MDrummer to perform several operations that might save a lot of your time and generate quite interesting results.
• Sequencer mode simulates real drummer. MDrummer can automatically put breaks/long breaks (fills) after certain periods, then play a crash cymbal and go back to the groove and so on. This way you can just run it and play or jam with him.
• MIDI output allows you to record the resulting drum track into a separate MIDI track using VST. You might use it to tune your rhythm track into the smallest details when you do not need our rhythm system any more.
• Signatures can vary from 3/4, 4/4, 5/4, 7/4 up to 40/4! MDrummer can then play any music style, change the signature inside the song etc.
• Loop export into WAV files. If your host does not support VST or you simply do not want to use this technology, you can take any loop and any drumset and render audio directly.
• Loop editor is a genius tool to edit every single parameter of any loop with exceptional ease. Supports 3 edit modes for maximal quickness and quantization modes including straight notes, triplets and tuplets from 4/5 (fifth-notes) to 4/19 (this does not even have a name), all in speed range from quarter notes to 128-ths. Everything is accessible within a single mouse click or keypress.
• Many per-note parameters (velocity, inaccuracy, offset, velocity deflection, probability, level range). If you really want to play with grooves (and loops generally), MDrummer offers several nonstandard parameters you can set to single notes that will help you reach the best.
• Unlimited number of tracks per loop associated to drum types for total compatibility with all drumsets. MDrummer rhythm system associates a drum type to any track, therefore any rhythm is compatible with any drumset. Loops can contain drums, cymbals, percussion and nothing will collide.

Rhythm is a really complicated structure. You have to create hundreds of loops that fit each other to make a rhythm sound natural. There are grooves with variable intensity and loudness, breaks to make resulting drum track more interesting, intros to start the song and so on. There really is a lot to think about. So how to make it without spending weeks?

We wanted to create several rhythms to sell and we also wanted you to be able to create such rhythms! We are drummers. Who else would be able to create such unique technology? We have discovered that drummers (and other musicians) combine several schemes and there are patterns in all of that. We used this knowledge to design a rhythm generator. You just need to find out how to work with it, not how it works. And believe me, it is really simple!

Licence protection - The software currently uses keyfile licencing. No dongles, hardware devices nor internet connection are required. Keyfiles contain your personal information, so if you share it, you will be traced and prosecuted.

• Advanced resizable styling engine - we are proud to announce, that MDrummer is the first software featuring vectorial-based resizable textured styling engine. This way MDrummer's appearance can be completely changed not only by colors, but using our predefined styles and you can even change its dimensions without loss of graphical quality! You can now work with MDrummer on small displays or even extremely large resolution devices, where standard fonts are not readable anymore.

• MeldaProduction Envelope System (MES) - every envelope can contain unlimited number of points of several curvature types and per-point smoothing with advanced user interface and ultra-high speed processing engine, which makes MDrummer approximately 150%-600% faster (measured on SSE2 machines). MDrummer 2.06 changes

• Song structure system - now you can start without any MIDI commands at all. MDrummer provides a simple editor to construct you song structure and get driven by that. Run MDrummer, load a drumset and rhythm and your drum track may be finished! Using drag & drop you can create a MIDI file containing commands which you can drop into your host sequencer to get more flexibility using our MIDI command system. And your song structures can be saved as always.
• Textual edits for all trackers - since now you can edit values in all trackers inside our software by specifying a text. Just click on any tracker while holding Shift key and specify your value with maximal possible accuracy.
• Custom sample path provide an easy way to access your own samples. The path is shared among all of the MSampler and MScratcher instances, so it is easy to change your sample path if you move it somewhere else.
• Jam mode now works correctly in VST too. You have also two ways to use it. First you can enable song structure and jam along it. Or you can use standard MIDI commands to define where MDrummer should play and where not and use channels 11-16 to jam.
• Solo/mute for tracks in loop editor.
• MIDI mode to disable everything except channel 10, let all channels play instead of commanding rhythms etc.
• Holding ctrl key when clicking on add bar (arrow icons) icons in loop editor duplicates the source bar.
• MDrummerConfig contains "test sound" button toggling audio output.

• Global mixer - now you can easily manipulate all drums with their volumes, panoramas, pitches and channel mappings inside a single window. An output peak meters for each channel make the mixing even more simple.
• Input MIDI filters provide an increadibly versatile way to manipulate incoming MIDI data. You can map each MIDI key to up to 4 different drums depending on the velocity and also define input velocity transformation using our shape graphs, which make things like compression unbelievably simple. Using automatic calibration you can attach and adapt any source (like keyboard or electric drums) in a few seconds.
• Output MIDI filters provide an easy way to attach other sound generators to the output of MDrummer. For example MDrummer can control external keyboards or software like Addictive drums and EZ Drummer just using MIDI inputs in your VST host.
• WAVe output - MDrummer can now record its output and save it as a WAV file(s). This is very useful for drummers or anyone using mostly the standalone version to record their performance.
