MDrummer's sound system - MMultiSampler
|
MMultiSampler is an incredibly sophisticated sampler with automatical
velocity layer management, alterning hits and even multimicrophone
control. Natural drums recorded in studio are always transformed into the
multisamples, which sound perfectly natural and since the layers are already
encapsulated inside, you will have no work with it. Just choose the right one!
- Perfect natural simulation of realworld drums and percussion.
Samples are created from drum-tracks recorded in studio, processed
automatically using our MMultiSampleGenerator, postprocessed and tested manually.
Alterning hits disable the chaingun effect.
Unlimited length of the fade-out (sometimes reaching 30s) and much more.
This ensures perfect sound quality and velocity mapping.

More than 5 bass drums, 7 snare drums (with/without snare), 3 sets of toms, 8 crash cymbals,
9 splashes, 7 rides, 4 hihats, 5 chinese cymbals, 4 cowbells, woodblocks, agogo bells and
other percussion, alternative experiments (such as corpus-shots) and much more.
In most cases played with multiple sticks, brushes, mallets, floppy and hands.
List of multisamples is only informational, since we are still creating more
and more of them.

Smart microphone control -
using a single control you can mix between 4 predefined mixes of microphones from each multisample.
Or you can control each microphone directly. Multiple multisamples can also be chained,
so you can adjust microphones for all of them ad once.
- Fully configurable envelope & pitch envelope using our MeldaProduction
Envelope System (MES) reaches beyond standard envelope possibilities. Now you can
convert your acoustic drums into sounds you could not even imagine.

Velocity mapping envelope can be used to select only certain set of
layers and their ratios, enable only certain set of layers etc.
- Smart memory management - completely loaded
MTotalDrums drumsets often take around 2GB in memory,
which is unacceptable for most cases. Therefore MMultiSampler applies smart caching
algorithm to fit only samples and parts of samples that are really necessary when
there is not enough memory. This approach also speeds up loading.
- MDrummer manages its multisample library, which is strictly structural, so you will never
have any problems with sample locations.
