Important poll for MXXX & MXXXCore users - RESULTS

Dear customer,

the changes to MXXX have been approved as most customers agreed and the rest of them seem not to understand the extremely rare nature of any potential compatibility issues. I'd like to thank you all for feedback and would like to specify the changes in detail here:

• Only MXXX & MXXXCore plugins are subject to the change, other plugins will be unaffected.
• All MXXX settings including all modulation, multiparameters, MIDI settings will NOT change.
• Settings in your projects, presets, active presets will NOT change.
• All parameters for modulation, multiparameters, MIDI will be available, in fact there will be more of them.

So there is really nothing to worry about. The only backward compatibility change that will occur is for automation in your host. MXXX offered thousands of parameters mostly regarding modulators, and it is extremely unlikely that anyone would use them. For sake of saving resources and additional possibilities for improvements without backward compatibility problems we decided to remove those.

Therefore from 9.21 only multiparameter values will be automatble and the number of multiparameters will be increased to 60. After that you WILL still be able to automate any parameter of MXXX and any sub-plugin via multiparameters the same way you did so far. Therefore no features are actually lost.

If you still have a problem with this for any reason, please feel free to stick with the current version.
