To ensure the highest fidelity, every microphone in our database was analysed in a professional anechoic chamber using a custom multi-dynamic sweep. This rigorous process captures exactly how the microphone reacts to different dynamics and frequencies, resulting in a simulation that feels alive and responsive.

Version 17.07 also marks a milestone for MTrackAlign, which officially exits beta status today. After extensive testing and feedback from the community, MTrackAlign is ready for prime time. This essential utility automatically fixes phase cancellation issues between multiple tracks recording the same source—such as multi-mic'd drums or guitar cabinets—ensuring your mixes are punchy, defined, and phase-coherent with minimal effort.

Version 17.07 brings two new instruments to all MSoundFactory and MSoundFactoryLE users. Piano on a trip is a hybrid piano sound with granular layers. Virtuoso power lead is a lead instrument with a "guitarish" sound. Furthermore, this massive update is bringing performance improvements, new workflow features, and bug fixes across all Melda plugins!
